🏀School Resource Officers are literally having a ball with a group of BCS intermediate and middle school students.

A group of school resource officers and students pose in Pack Square Park. The students are holding basketballs.The students joined the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office for the 2026 Southern Conference Tournament. They started the day at the Downtown Dribble and Kids Fest, mingling with college mascots and getting basketballs, which they bounced as they walked from Pack Square Park to the Harrah’s Cherokee Center-Asheville to watch this afternoon’s tournament action.
